It requires no adjustment or batteries. It is all optics. Aimpoint has introduced the Aimpoint CEU (Concealed Engagement Unit) that attempts to perform the same thing, but you cannot use your Eotech or Aimpoint normally with this sight on your rifle without taking it off the weapon. .
