The LaserLyte Universal Trainer tries to accomplish the same thing, but does not allow you to holster your weapon. Also the LaserLyte Universal Trainer is sound activated, so your firing pin is not protected. You can also buy a end cap that turns the SureStrike laser Bullet into a laser boresight. This comes in handy if you are adjusting your Viridian C5L green laser for the first time. The SureStrike laser bullet will last 5000 shots before you have to replace the batteries, so think about all the money you will save on ammunition.
